Louisa has extensive experience in Immigration and as an immigrant, has been through the complexities of the immigration process herself. Previously, she worked in one of the largest financial institutions in the world, as a compliance attorney; where she primarily focused on regulatory compliance, Anti-Money Laundering, Financial Crimes, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). Ms. Akpassa is also adept at advising clients on navigating business issues and the international trade sphere. In addition to the practice, Louisa serves as a volunteer counsel in a non-profit organization where she advises and assists with immigration applications.
